Leaving Zion behind

Palestinians are suffering, they’ve reached the point of no return: Famine.

Starvation is one thing, but Famine’s wounds cut permanantly. He causes DNA changes, and brain, heart, and skeletal tissue is damaged. Thier bodies are harvesting muscle, fats, bone, even to survive…. their brains will not heal from this lingering suffering, even if they began eating regularly, today.

Children, just like yours and mine, unfortunate enough to be born in the “holy land” are withering and dying; their short childhoods gone in a sea of terror, loss, pain, confusion and instability… It’s WRONG!!! Their parents are languishing, weakened and hopeless.

All because some god long ago promised land to someone, supposedly, and their childrens’ childrens’ children can’t share???

HOW CAN WE LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN AND AGAIN??

When I left the faith of Christianity (or did it leave me?), I did so with great strain, hurt, anger, loss, and even a bitter resentment towards those who could fantasize so hard (like I used to) that God was going to protect me. What I’d lost: for years I didn’t fear death, Christ would take that burden, I was taught.
Today, I don’t fear death, only because my life isn’t on the line –but, I do see how the fantasy of loved ones being in heaven can comfort.
Oh boy, do I ever.

Christians say they don’t fear death, they sing about and shout it from pulpits, convincing themselves while assuring you you’ll never taste death as they try to coerce you into their faith, but they fear it –so much that they’ll imagine all sorts of things, and in return their bodies will pump out a hormone concoction to make them feel well enough to wake tomorrow, for another day of prayers to not die (basically).

“Religion is the Opiate for the masses,” Karl Marx wrote, and damn he was right!!!
No religious person will admit it, but each and every time their nervous system fears death, they’re conditioned to think of heaven, a loving father, and no more pain —which in turn is a hormone injection, like an Opium hit to the system. Try it! You’ll feel it, once you believe, lol.

Mind over matter, fake it till you make it.

Zionists are proving to be run-of-the-mill terrorists, sadly. Some are marrying child brides, punishing mothers, imprisoning the raped, not rapists. Many are fully supporting this “war” in Gaza… The American ones are trying with fever to overtake the government and create a new Jerusalem there.

Many uphold their allegience with the “holy land,” overlooking a genocide, for fear of offending their God; the Abrahamic, biblical god. They align with Netenyahu, for he’s their god’s chosen leader, and they dare not speak out against the Chosen.

Don’t dare try to cut the Vine (iykyk).

We are devolving by teaching the young our old religions. Prayers won’t stop people from doing evil to others, and gods won’t, either. But raising caring, thoughtful, respectful, and generous people can, as can standing up and defending yourself and those who can’t defend themselves.

Religions teach the young (from the start) that they are better people than those who aren’t believers (xenophobia, fearing difference, isolation).
Religions teach that diversity is evil, even though their god created all things diverse, being the Creator and all.
Religions teach that unbelievers should be pitied and instructed on how to conform, yet aren’t important enough to respect.
Christian faith raised children go to school in America frantic with anxiety over the spiritual state of thier fellow students & teachers, It causes them great anguish! They’re unable to save the whole world from the devil, but their hearts are big enough to try.
How do I know? I was one of those kids. The fear is real! These children pester others, isolating them from their peers. This feeling can alone cause trauma, having no resolution, nothing solved, no soothing peace or calm.
Having a faith in Christ appearantly means oppressing who you want for what you want, when you want it. Look at the American president; his voters claim to be Christian. The Catholic church, wearing regal garments, plating everything in gold, and hoarding the world’s treasures while people starve…
Religions indoctrinate shame (especially Abrahamic ones), which keeps believers unsatisfied with their unruly, wild bodies, seeking scriptures to soothe, and tinctures, tonics and consumer products to improve, rejuvenate, and enlighten their flesh.

Without the Patriarchy (religions), Capitalism cannot thrive.

I recall a hymn from church-days:
“Oh Zion, Zion, I long, thy gates, to see.
Zion, glorious Zion, when shall I dwell in thee?”

To which I reply, Oh Zion, devious Zion, no real Love dwells in thee.
